Celebration: [to be announced]
Astronomical: Monday, May 5, 2014, 6:53 pm

Beltane (or Roodmas or Cethsamhain or Whitsuntide) was considered to be the beginning of summer, and is a fertility festival celebrated with bonfires and dancing around the Maypole (which was once a bit more suggestively symbolic). Beltane is a time to celebrate our bodies, and the fertility of the earth. Join us in celebration of the turning of the wheel of seasons, as we welcome the Mother back from her long sleep.

You are welcome to come to our celebration! This year, Johanna will be offering up her home for the festivities.

If you have been to Grove before, you are welcome to bring a friend. Please bring:

This event will be held at Johanna's house in the Leschi / Central Area neighborhood of Seattle - please call for more details.
